Welcome to the Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate Sex Offender Registry. The Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate Tribal Council adopted by Resolution to create the Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate Sex Offender Registry and Office to protect the Tribal Members, residents, students, employees and visitors of the Lake Traverse Reservation.Together with the Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate Sex Offender Registry Office, Sisseton-Wahpeton Law Enforcement and other Tribal entities and concerned citizens, the Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate strives as one joint effort to prevent sexual abuse and sex offenders in the area from reoffending. This website allows the public access to the registry solely for information purposes.
